Who is the guest lecturer?
Harianto Wijaya is currently the director of PATEN, which deals with the implementation of state-of- the-art mobile communication systems. Harianto Wijaya received his Dr.-Ing. in Electrical & Information Engineering from the RWTH Aachen, Germany in 2004. He was the first green card holder in Germany and worked with Siemens ICM (R&D), Munich, Germany from 2000 till 2005 to develop 4G prototypes. In 2003 Siemens demonstrated world first multi-hop system (360 Mbps) and 2004 world- first 4G system (1 Gbps). He was also the Dean of Computer Engineering Department of Universitas Multimedia Nusantara (UMN) in 2007. He published and co-authored 15 conference papers and also co-authored “IEEE 802 Wireless Systems: Protocols, Multi-Hop Mesh / Relaying, Performance and Spectrum Coexistence”, Wiley, ISBN-13: 978-0470014394. He also filed two patents in wireless communication systems.
